Jeff Wallace

Jeff Wallace is Professor of Literature and Cultural History, and Head of the Department of Humanities and Languages, at the University of Glamorgan. He has also taught at the universities of Kent, Indiana and Liverpool John Moores. He is the author of D.H. Lawrence, Science and the Posthuman (2005), and co-editor of  Charles Darwin's Origin of Species: New Interdisciplinary Essays (1995), Raymond Williams Now: Knowledge, Limits and the Future (1997), and Gothic Modernisms (2001). He was a founding editor of the book series Texts in Culture (MUP), and of the journal Key Words. He has also edited Lawrence's Women in Love and The Virgin and the Gipsy and other stories, as well as Darwin's Origin of Species. He is currently working on a study of abstraction in modern literature and the visual arts.
